(The tag says 29 X 30, but they fit more like 30 X 30.) These jeans have served me well. They are easily the most comfortable pair I've ever owned!

100% authentic, made in Italy. What's sad is that these jeans have been discontinued. What a shame! I really hate to part with them. They have served me well. But! Times are tight. My loss can be your gain!

From Wikipedia:

Diesel S.p.A.
is an Italian design company. It is best known for clothing aimed at the young adult market, particularly jeans, but the brand can now be found on everything from underwear to fragrances, cars and furniture. The company is owned by its founder Renzo Rosso and is based in Breganze in northern Italy.

Ray-Ban Wayfarer II Sunglasses

Ray-Ban Wayfarer II Sunglasses (Black/White Color Scheme)

Ended on August 6th, 2010 5:58:58 PM EST.

Retail price: $145.

Ending bid: $39.

The story: You've seen this design worn by the coolest of the cool: Bob Dylan, Cary Grant, Jude Law, Shia LeBeouf Andy Warhol, Roy Orbison, John F. Kennedy, Tom Cruise, John Belushi and Dan Akroyd in The Blues Brothers and many more.

What's so cool about these Ray-Bans? I don't know. I just know that it hurts me to bits that I should have to part from them. But how else can I reach out to you all in Blog Land if I don't pay the ol' 'lectric bill? The conundrum boggles the mind like the snake eating its own tail. Or something like that.

Forgive me if I rant. One thing I am looking at more and more within myself is the value I place on my possessions. Ask yourself this question: What would you grab if your house was ablaze with fire and cinders and smoke and such? Perhaps you really think it would be your $145 Ray-Bans...

I hope that you would grab something a little nearer and dearer to you --- priceless and irreplaceable items such as family photos, mementos, letters, finger paintings done by your children or grandchildren...the list goes on. But I digress. Wayfarers rock!

From Wikipedia:

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses have been manufactured by Ray-Ban since 1952, when their design was a revolutionary break from the metal eyewear of the past. Wayfarers enjoyed early popularity in the 1950s and 1960s. Though the sunglasses had faded from the limelight by the 1970s, a lucrative 1982 product placement deal brought Wayfarers to their height of popularity. Since the mid-2000s, the sunglasses have been enjoying a revival.

Wayfarers are sometimes cited as the best-selling design of sunglasses in history (although Ray-Ban Aviators have also been credited with this achievement) and have been called a classic of modern design and one of the most enduring fashion icons of the 20th century.
